I just love the Maine weather in spring! One minute it's sunny, and the next it's pouring rain... but then it clears up! And then it rains.... You never know what you are going to get, and you can't trust the weather channel because they can't predict it any better than you can. That was the story of this day when it came to the weather.
We went to Portland and attended this interesting spiritual fair thing. There were a lot of energy healers and psychics there and Mark got a reading on his dog. After that, we went to a shop in Portland called "Leapin' Lizards". We ended the day in Brunswick having a laundry party at the local laundromat with Rob and Mark. Woohoo!
I don't have much to add to what Joel has written, but he did leave out the rather amazing sandwiches we had at Big Top in downtown Brunswick. One of the better pastrami/coleslaw/swiss/1000 Island sandwiches I've had.
Then, this dog who has always loved Di but doesn't love strangers in general, including me and Joel, was so agitated by our presence that he bit Di when she went to pet him! I swear it was because he was upset about me being there but too afraid of me to bite me, so he redirected to her. The psychic told Mark that his dog needed him to be a stronger leader and to be careful not to reward his bad behavior with physical affection (oddly, exactly the same thing both Di and I had told him that morning). Joel said I could be an animal psychic too!
